whirly ball extravaganza

I can't wait for this...I have to do this before I leave Chicago and thanks to my friend, Taber whom helped me created this flyer! It's so awesome.

i heart photographs

I found myself addicted to WeddingSquare, a great wedding website that provide all the resources you need to plan a wedding in Thailand. Apart from it un-friendly usability and hard-to-navigate interface — this website is definitely a go-to place to start your wedding planning.

I can't do much here in Chicago with venue search, however, I have a couple places in mind that I would like to visit for my Thai blessing ceremony. Me and my mom would do that once we arrive in Bangkok. Though, I haven't make an initial list for possible venues for our beach wedding reception yet. The list could be endless since there are so many — beautiful beaches — in Thailand. Perhaps, Wyeth can take care of this!

Lately, I have spent at least three hours a day looking for our wedding photographer. Photographs are very — important for me. I look at my old photos all the time. I love capturing my life moments and I guess I love looking at my own photos as well.

All the photographers that I found are so amazing and I love all their works. It is such a hard decision. I think it will come down to pricing and who is willing to travel to the southern part of Thailand for our beach wedding.

Here are my initial list of photographers I like.

i miss the holiday

I love the spirits for the holiday! I know that it was over months ago but I can't help and think how much fun we had in both Vermont & Utah. I feel like every time I go to Vermont, I did something new that I have never done before such as snowmobiling at Smuggler's Notch, walking on the frozen river and having maple candy (and by the way maple candy is my new favorite's thing).

I wish everyday is a holiday.

Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday! Today is our STUDY day (referencing my nerdy photo with reading-glasses above). Oh well, at least we were planning to do this today until 5pm when our friends will come over for take-out dinner. I haven't yet start studying and I just looked over to Wyeth, he is now still War-of-Warcarfting!

I need to revisit my knowledge on SEO but I found myself reading this DIY blog on wedding for the past hours!

cupcake-mania

My love for cupcakes, especially red velvet with cream cheese frosting is beyond anyone could imagine. There were times when I have to drive to a far-away neighborhood to get the cupcakes just because I felt like it. I would buy half a dozen of them and they would be gone in two days. I remembered one day in the summertime, where I ate 3 cupcakes for breakfast while Facebooking. Then, I realized in the beginning of this winter that this addiction has to stop...Though, I eat them less but my love for them isn't any less and my quest to find the best cupcakes in Bangkok is actually on  my to-do list.

We haven't yet moved to Bangkok (5 more weeks woo-hoo) but I think I might just have discovered a place where I can get my crave for some cupcakes. My friend, Toon, sent me a Page request on Facebook for Cup-Cakerie and I had to say that just by looking at the shop's photos...made my mouth watery!

tres chic wedding dress

When it comes to wedding dresses, my friend, Aack once said while we went wedding dress shopping, "Ploy, your choice for a dress is quite conservative and simple!" -- Yes, I used to think that I would like a lot of foo-foo stuff for my wedding dress but when I finally got engaged, my taste completely changed.

I found this dress on Etsy the other day and I totally fell in love with it. This could be a dress that I can wear for my Buddhist Blessing Ceremony (Thai Wedding)...but I will have to ask my mom first. I know she wants me to wear a Thai traditional dress.
